Hello Friends!
I am back, and for good this time! The move (along with my job and the FLU) have slowed me down from making videos, but I am back with 2, count’em 2, new videos.
Last week I worked on my 2019 motto piece (new video on that next Friday), but afterward I had a bunch of extra paper left over. So I figured I would make some cards with them.
Now I know it is almost (like 2 days away) Christmas, and you are sure to be a bit Christmas Carded out, but I figured I would share these anyway. Because the techniques are universal to all crafting, not just Christmas, and I bet you have not seen crazy cool Christmas cards like this before!
I have listed below all of the colors and stamps, stencils, and dies I used. (I am being lazy and not linking everything)
The important thing to remember if you want to do this same technique is to decide on a color pallet (for me it was bright pink, baby blue, deep blue, and silver), and stick to it across all the different media you use. One lesson I learned later in the process is that black and white really go with any pallet, so don’t hesitate to use them when you need contrast. Some of my cards would have done much better if I had not hesitated to use black instead of silver embossing.
